Muhammad Ghaffar Doggar

Dr. Muhammad Ghaffar Doggar is currently working as Associate Professor /PSO (in OG III), at Energy Research Center (ERC), COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT) Lahore. He has service career of 33 years (+) on his credit; he worked in public sector organizations as Project Director (Solar Energy Project at PCRET), Chief Research Officer (PCST); Director (Biogas Tube wells – 2 projects) in Punjab Government, Project Coordinator (Biomass Feasibility Study), Deputy Director (P&M), Divisional Engineer (Agri: Engineering), Technical Engineer (HQ) and Research Engineer AMRI etc.

His professional experience includes research and development for biomass, bio-gas and solar energy technology, engineering development services, science and technology policy & planning, development of projects documents on S&T / engineering / renewable energy and their execution and monitoring, peer review of national S&T projects. Due to his expertise in S&T and renewable energy technologies, he has reviewed national projects on S&T subjects. He is well conversant with national  procurement procedures and rules (viz PPRA) for procurement of engineering consultancy services.
